Classic Margherita Pizza


1 x Perfectly Imperfect Woodfired Pizza Base

1/2 Cup Tomato Passata Sauce

1 1/2 Cups of Eclipse Italian-style Grated Mozzarella

1 tbsp Olive Oil

Salt to taste

5 or more Fresh Basil Leaves


Preheat oven with pizza stone to 220C.

Place the pizza base on some baking paper.  Spread evenly on top of the pizza base the tomato sauce.

Arrange mozzarella cheese to cover the tomato sauce and place basil leaves on top, saving some to place on top after the pizza is cooked. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle sea salt to taste.

Place pizza on pizza stone and cook until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly. Remove from oven, add a few fresh basil leaves, and it is ready to serve.
