Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fresh coconut milk
  • 1 inch of fresh ginger (or 1 tsp of ground ginger)
  • 1 inch of fresh turmeric (scrubbed and diced)
  • 1/2 cup of date water (or 1 tbsp of honey)
  • 1/2 banana

Method

Fresh coconut milk
  • To make fresh coconut milk, blend white coconut flesh in a strong blender with 1 cup of water. Strain through muslin cloth to get fresh coconut milk. Add more water as required. 1 coconut should give you 1-2 L milk
Date water
  • To make fresh date water soak 1/2 cup of dried dates in 1/2 cup of water. Strain dates using your hands and the leftover water is date water ( I use the soften dates for bliss balls)
  1. Simply pop all the above into a blender and blend, enjoy
