Ingredients

  • 10 rhubarb stalks, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 grated apples
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method

  1. In a pot add rhubarb, grated apple, water and sugar
  2. Cover and bring to the boil
  3. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick
  4. Cool and store covered in your fridge
