Ingredients

  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 packet of Maggi onion soup
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tbsp of cream cheese
  • 5 slices of bacon
  • Salt to taste
  • A handful of chives

Method

  1. Peel and chop potatoes
  2. Put potatoes onto boil with 2 cups of water and Maggi soup mix
  3. Boil potatoes for approximately 30 mins until soft (add more water if required)
  4. Blend potatoes with a stick mixer or a food processor
  5. Dice bacon and fry in a grease-proof fry pan
  6. Mix cooked bacon, cream cheese and chives through soup
  7. Serve with a dollop of cream cheese and a few extra chives on top
