  • 1/2 cauliflower head
  • Half bunch of celery
  • 4-5 carrots
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp powdered chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 25g butter


  1. In a pot boil 1/4 head of cauliflower until cooked
  2. In a separate pot add milk, cornflour and butter and heat on low heat
  3. Bring to the boil and wait until the sauce thickens, stirring continuously
  4. Add cheese and chicken stock to sauce
  5. Drain cauliflower from step 1 add to the cheese sauce and blend cheese and cauliflower to form your creamy dip
  6. Serve sauce hot with carrot sticks, celery sticks and raw cauliflower
