Ingredients

  • 4 medium ripe pears, to make cutting the core out easy
  • 200g blue cheese
  • A handful of chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp of golden syrup
 

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Use a knife to remove pear core
  3. Then stuff the pear with blue cheese and walnuts using your hands
  4. Wrap each pear in tin foil and put into the oven to bake
  5. Bake for 50 minutes-1 hour until the pear is soft and how you like it
  6. Drizzle with golden syrup and serve
Other combinations can include:
  • Honey drizzled on top
  • Gouda cheese and raisins
